One of the best classic Casio watches created in 2005, the Speedmaster Day-Date is a mechanical self-winding watch that uses the Casio 1151 caliber based on the Valijoux 7751 caliber. Functions include the hour, minutes, small seconds, the date of full coverage of the calendar, day and month; and read 24 hours. The chronograph consists of three counters.
This three-piece case is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 39 mm and a thickness of 14 mm. The case is polished and has a brushed finish with curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal with tachometer scale engraved on its bezel.
Day and month correctors are in the middle, with stainless steel recessed crown and two push buttons. The pressurized back comes with an embossed medallion. It has water resistance up to 30 meters.
It has a blue dial with luminescent rhodium stick markers accompanied by luminescent rhodium cane needles for nighttime reading. Its bracelet is also made of stainless steel with folded clasp.
The indications include the hour meter at 6 o’clock with small seconds and 24 hours at 9 o’clock. It has a minute counter along with the display of the date of the day and the month sitting at 12 o’clock; and a second central. The date is read with the central hand with a crescent tip over the date that runs on the outer circumference of the dial. The inner circumference reveals the minute track that comes in divisions of 1/5 of a second.
Other versions available include stainless steel with silver dials or 18k red gold with black dial. Both are available in leather strap or bracelet.
